Show chart and details

What it means: all meat and meat products, including bacon, sausages, ready meals and takeaways, bought for eating at home plus meat eaten out, per person per week across the UK. Eating out fell sharply during the 2020/21 lockdowns while buying for home rose. How much meat people should eat is a matter of health and environmental advice rather than a government target, so this is shown for context.
