Digital sector jobs by subsector, 2025

What it means: jobs in industries that make or provide digital products and services, from software and IT consultancy to telecoms, publishing, film and TV, including the self-employed. People in digital roles in other industries, such as a bank’s software developers, are not counted. DSIT’s current method starts in 2024, so only two years can be compared. Shown for context.
